Product overview:
Low-Temperature Switchgear Oil is produced from lubricating oil distillates through hydrotreating and fractionation.
Performance features:
It has a pour point below -60°C, excellent low-temperature fluidity, thermal and oxidation stability, and excellent electrical insulating properties. High breakdown voltage and a low dielectric loss factor help prevent electrical discharge and power losses in high-voltage electric fields. Its performance is stable and reliable. Good resistance to gas evolution helps prevent discharge across gas gaps in high-voltage electric fields. It is also an environmentally friendly transformer oil because it contains no polychlorinated biphenyls.

Suitable for switchgear operating at low temperatures.

Application limitations:
• For transformers and instrument transformers operating at ordinary ambient temperatures, the general-purpose I/U/T series is sufficient.
• For extra-high voltage transformers above 500 kV, select Extra-High Voltage Transformer Oil.
