Product overview:
PetroNexus Orion S2A is a premium turbine oil series designed for the demanding lubrication requirements of modern power-plant steam turbines. It is blended from high-quality, deeply hydrotreated base oils and premium ashless additives. Outstanding thermal and oxidation stability, demulsibility, rust and corrosion protection, air release and resistance to chemical degradation provide excellent equipment protection and reliable operation.

Performance features:
1. Outstanding high-temperature oxidation stability prevents sludge formation, effectively controls deposits and supports stable equipment operation.
2. Excellent water separation prevents emulsion formation and allows excess water to be drained easily from the lubrication system.
3. Effective rust and corrosion protection provides long-term protection for critical system components.
4. Good air release and foam control prevent unstable operation and cavitation and reduce equipment malfunctions.

Applications:
• Steam turbine-generator sets, industrial steam turbines and turbocompressor units.
• Hydraulic turbines and gas turbines without gearing.
• Equipment requiring high-quality rust-and-oxidation-inhibited (R&O) lubricants.

Unsuitable applications:
• Not suitable for gas turbines with heavily loaded gearboxes. Do not use as an extreme-pressure gear oil. Not suitable for turbine equipment exposed to large quantities of acidic process gases.
