15W-40 Marine High-Speed Diesel Engine Oil is a high-performance engine lubricant designed to meet the demanding requirements of a wide range of high-speed marine diesel engines operating under varied conditions. It provides triple protection for marine diesel engines to improve engine and oil durability. It is suitable for marine diesel engines burning distillate fuels with a sulfur content below 0.5%.

Performance features:
• Acid corrosion control: By reducing acid accumulation, the oil limits chemical corrosion of engine bearings and provides excellent acid control. Selected detergent additives effectively neutralize harmful acids produced during fuel combustion and help prevent corrosion of metal surfaces.
• Good deposit control: Carefully optimized detergent and dispersant additive technology helps prevent oil thickening, engine sludge and piston deposits, supporting maximum marine engine reliability.
• Excellent antiwear protection: Antiwear additives maintain a protective oil film between pistons, piston rings and cylinders across different operating temperatures and pressures. Added soot dispersants keep soot particles dispersed to help prevent wear. The combination of antiwear agents and soot dispersants helps extend engine life and improve engine efficiency.

Applications:
• Suitable for high-speed propulsion engines in offshore service vessels, offshore platforms, maritime patrol vessels, tugboats and high-speed boats.
• Suitable for marine engines from equipment manufacturers including Caterpillar, Cummins and MTU.
• Suitable for most modern low-emission marine engines requiring ACEA E7 and API CI-4 performance, and for biodiesel applications. When using biodiesel, follow the OEM-recommended oil drain intervals.
